A route visiting an olive mill, a characteristic village, waterfalls of Argyroupolis and Lake Kournas

Free cancellation available

On this tour, you’ll visit several sites that will give you a feel for the laidback lifestyle, history and culture of Crete. Your first stop will be an oil mill, where you’ll get an inside look at how some of Greece’s celebrated olive oil is produced.

In the village of Georgioupoli, you’ll visit a white chapel that’s dedicated to St. Nicholas and perched on a rocky islet in the sea – one of Crete’s most photographed landmarks. After a quick stop to view the majestic waterfalls of Argyroupolis, you’ll arrive at Lake Kournas. Here, you’ll have two hours to swim in the beautiful turquoise waters or visit the local taverns to try out Cretan cuisine.
